Spring and autumn in Yancheng

[Tianning Tower] Since ancient times, there must be a temple and a tower. When Tianning Temple was first built, the pagoda was destroyed by fire. Master Song Chun, the current abbot, made a grand wish to resume the construction of Tianning Tower, which was affirmed and supported by the municipal government and people from all walks of life. In April, 20001year, Changzhou municipal government decided to invest 200 million yuan to build a pagoda with a tower height 13 floor and a construction area of 27,000 square meters in Houhongmei Park of Tianning Temple, which is the highest among more than 4,000 pagodas in China. The completion of the stupa is related to Yungang Buddha in the north, Longmen Buddha in the Central Plains, Leshan Buddha in the west and Lingshan Buddha in the east. The echo of the giant Buddha in the Temple of Heaven in southern Hong Kong will add new glory to the Buddhist community.

Changzhou China Dinosaur Park (also known as the Oriental Jurassic Park) is located in the modern tourism and leisure area of Changzhou New District. As early as the beginning of 1997, Changzhou Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Land and Resources (formerly the Ministry of Geology and Minerals) signed a cooperation agreement for this project, and in September of the same year, Changzhou Zhonghua Dinosaur Park Co., Ltd., the main developer of the project, was formally established. The first phase of the park has an investment of 300 million yuan, and the first phase covers an area of 900 mu.

After more than two years of construction, China Dinosaur Park has grown from scratch, from small to large, from basic construction to now, and has been divided into four major tourism and leisure functional areas, each with its own characteristics and mutual foil.

As the main building of the China Dinosaur Park, the China Dinosaur Museum has made full use of modern bionic architectural language in appearance. Three high-spirited faucets are similar to three dinosaurs whispering, and a huge dinosaur body presents a freehand brushwork style. The total area of the museum is 1.5 million square meters, the highest point of the faucet is 7 1 meter, and the highest point of the museum dome is 36 meters, which is unique in the history of domestic tourism architecture. China Dinosaur Museum will become a landmark of Changzhou tourism with its grand space and unique architectural language.

Yancheng is located in the south of Changzhou, about seven kilometers away from the urban area. It is the earliest and most complete ground city in China from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn Period. Yancheng is also the only ancient city with three cities and three rivers in the world, with an area of about 0.6 square kilometers and a history of nearly 3,000 years.

Yancheng consists of three earth walls and three moats, and the outermost wall is surrounded by battlements. There are Yan Jun Temple, Paomagang, Ganlu City, Toudun, Doudun, Jiaodun, Yujing and Longquan in the city. Many precious cultural relics have been unearthed in Yancheng, including beautifully shaped bronzes, primitive celadon and pottery. The canoe excavated in the inner city caused a sensation in the archaeological field of China. The largest ship, carved from a whole nanmu fire axe, is 1 1 m long, 0.9 m wide and 0.45 m deep. It is called "the first ship in the world" and is now in the Chinese History Museum.
