abstract

Under the decadent Rashomon Gate, the firewood seller and the monk who escaped from the rainstorm told a bizarre murder case. A samurai named Wu Hong was killed, and a Jiang Yang thief who was civilized in Beijing was arrested and brought to justice, claiming that he was killed in a duel with the samurai. However, "I don't understand, I really don't understand" is that the samurai's wife, Zhensha, the ghost of Wu Hong, and the firewood seller who claimed to be a witness have completely different views.

Right or wrong? Lies and truth are still elusive under Rashomon.

Director Akira Kurosawa

Akira Kurosawa 19 10 was born on March 23rd, 2000 in Datamachi, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo. He is the last of eight brothers. After graduating from junior high school, Kurosawa was keen on painting and determined to become a painter. Influenced by his brother, Kurosawa was admitted as an assistant director on 1934 and entered PCL Film Company, the predecessor of Dongbao Film Company, to study as a director and screenwriter.

From 65438 to 0943, Akira Kurosawa independently directed his first film, Zi Sanshiro, and became famous in one fell swoop. Together with Keisuke Kinoshita, the director of Flower of the Harbor, it is regarded as the new hope of Japanese films. 1948, Akira Kurosawa directed the wooden barrel again, insisted on using Junlang of Mifune as the leading actor in Drunk Angel, and started the "Golden Age of Akira Kurosawa" composed of Bibi, Akira Kurosawa and Junlang of Mifune, becoming the strongest Japanese film partner. Before Red Beard arrived in 65,438+07, the works directed by Akira Kurosawa and Junlang Mifune included Rashomon, Idiot, Seven Samurai, Record of Life, Spider's Nest City, Darby and Heaven and Hell. Not only Rashomon, which was shot at 1950, won the grand prize at the Venice International Film Festival the following year. From then on, Kurosawa became famous in the world film industry, and Mifune Junlang also won the Best Actor Award at the Venice Film Festival for his "Darts" and "Red Beard", so they established the title of "The World Blackpool, the World Minlang Elegy" in the Japanese film industry.

The second half of 1960 to the beginning of 1970 is the low tide of Kurosawa's creation. His relationship with Mifune Junlang suddenly broke down. From then on, they stopped talking to each other and cooperating with each other, but both of them kept their mouths shut about the reason. 1970, his adaptation of Sh?gor? Yamamoto's novel City without Seasons failed at the box office, and Akira Kurosawa even attempted suicide. However, Kurosawa quickly stood up again. 1975, the Japanese-Russian joint venture film Desuvuzara directed by him won the gold medal at the Moscow Film Festival and the Oscar for best foreign language film. 1980, The Shadow Warrior, funded by French film company and co-produced by Akira Kurosawa and Junlang of Mifune, won the Palme d 'Or at Cannes Film Festival.

From 65438 to 0985, Kurosawa completed the giant costume movie Chaos. In his later years, Kurosawa was keen on creating costume films, and his artistic pursuit was more persistent. His works also had profound philosophical connotations.

Comments:

Kurosawa is a perfectionist, and he often spends a lot of manpower and material resources for the perfection of a shot. Spielberg once said, "Akira Kurosawa is Shakespeare in the film industry." This fully reflects the admiration of one master for another super master.

Kurosawa is an out-and-out male artist. His films always describe the samurai class in Japan: its history, moral fashion, social function and evolution. And praise the iron man through art. Kurosawa has no sympathy for the weak. If American westerns are symbols of American culture and American spirit; Then Kurosawa's samurai films are also symbols of Japanese culture and Japanese spirit: samurai's loyalty, dedication, courage, integrity, discipline and self-denial, as well as rough struggle, are the samurai's character and the Japanese nation's character.

His films have a strong sense of images and profound moral concepts and philosophy. He has the rare talent of other Japanese, that is, strict logical thinking and profound thoughts, which makes him the most idealistic director in Japan. His creative method is very special, and he likes to conceive and create from a philosophical concept. Many of his films are self-contained, and sometimes even take one word as the theme. He first has a certain concept of life, society and life, and then collects materials and conceives characters and plots. These plots and characters are not necessarily true, on the contrary, they are processed, exaggerated and enhanced images to show the author's philosophy. This film is just his personal experiment to explore life. He just wants to put people in a test tube, give certain conditions and certain stimuli to measure people's reactions.

Akira Kurosawa is the most European and beautified director in Japan. He once adapted the works of Shakespeare, Dostoevsky and Gorky into Japanese stories and put them on the screen. He is also the best imitator of American movies, combining modern film technology with Japanese national tradition skillfully. His Seven Samurai is an entertainment film full of fierce fighting, comedy, humor and philosophy. Structurally, it completely imitates the model of American westerns.

After rashomon's point of view

Accident is just an excuse, and the narrative mode with dialogue is Kurosawa's form of identity and Kurosawa's understanding of the world made up of a language.
