Nanchang Metro 1 Line is the first subway line in Nanchang. The first phase of the project is 28.843 kilometers long and consists of 24 stations, connecting the Economic Development Zone, Honggutan New District, donghu district, Qingshan Lake District and High-tech Zone. The starting and ending stations are Shuanggang Station and Yaohu West Station respectively, and the departure interval of 1 line is 6 minutes. Nanchang Metro 1 Line is marked in red and divided into six sections. Train vehicles are all B-type vehicles, with a width of 2.8m and a height of 3.8m.. The effective length of the car body is 19 meter, and the maximum one-way passenger capacity is 30,000 to 55,000 people per hour. Nanchang Metro 1 Line was initially equipped with 27 trains, which were manufactured by CNR Changchun Railway Passenger Car Co., Ltd., and the construction of Nanchang Metro 1 Line started on July 29th, 2009. Due to the problems in the actual construction of Nanchang Metro 1 Line, such as traffic congestion, land requisition and demolition, the 1 Line was originally planned to be put into operation in June 20 14, which was delayed for more than one year.
