On behalf of the provincial government, Sun Guoqiang signed a letter of responsibility for promoting the construction and operation of TD-SCDMA with the municipal (state, prefecture) governments and relevant units in Guizhou Province, requiring governments at or above the county level to establish a green channel for promoting TD-SCDMA, and provide support in the aspects of TD-SCDMA network construction land, base station location, power supply, business approval and marketing.
According to the plan, the TD-SCDMA network in Guizhou Province will cover the main city of Guiyang and its three suburbs, Zunyi City, Liupanshui City and other key areas of cities. 20 10 covers all municipal (state, prefecture) governments and some expressways in the province; 20 1 1 Expand the network to cover cities above the county level, important towns, some rural areas, tourist attractions and traffic arteries, and realize the mature application of TD-SCDMA services.
On June 20th this year, at 65438, Guizhou Mobile successfully dialed the first 3G videophone in Guizhou through TD-SCDMA network, marking the beginning of the 3G era in Guizhou. Guizhou Mobile's 3G Phase I project invested nearly 10 billion yuan to build a TD-SCDMA network covering Guiyang city, and will provide 3G services to Guiyang users in the first half of this year.
