Introduction:
The commercial tugboat Nostoromo returned to Earth from Ceidos with seven crew members and 20 million tons of ore. When passing an asteroid, the spacecraft received a mysterious signal, and the computer on board immediately awakened the sleeping crew. The upper management of the company ordered the Nostromo to land on the asteroid, and the captain Dallas (tom skerritt), the co-pilot Kane (john hurt) and the navigator Lambert (Veronica Cartwright) disembarked to investigate the signal source. Warrant Officer ripley (sigourney weaver), Science Officer Ash (Tian Holm), Engineer Brett (Harry Dean Stanton) and Parker (Yaphet Kotto) were ordered to stay and monitor the progress and repair the damaged parts when the spacecraft landed. Dallas, Kane and Lambert found that the signal came from the wreckage of an alien spacecraft. They entered the wreckage and saw the ribs of the wreckage of alien creatures open outward. At the same time, ripley finally decided that this signal meant a warning. Kane found an egg room, an egg suddenly burst, and the released creature clung to Kane's face. Dallas and Lambert brought Kane, who was unconscious, back to the spaceship, but the crew could not remove the alien creature from Kane's face, only to find that its blood was a strong acid, and finally the creature fell off and was confirmed dead. When the maintenance work was completed, the crew began to go to Earth, and Kane finally woke up. It seemed safe and sound, but after eating, he suddenly choked and twitched, and an alien burst out of his chest. Due to the lack of conventional weapons, the crew tried to catch aliens who escaped into the cabin with high-precision trackers, stun guns and flame throwers. Dallas and Brett were killed in succession. Lambert hoped that the rest of the crew could escape on the shuttle, but ripley knew that the shuttle could not accommodate four people. Ripley found from the spaceship computer that Ashe was ordered by the company's employer to bring aliens back to Earth, even at the expense of the lives of the crew. After a life-and-death struggle, Parker killed Ash with a flame thrower, and they finally found that Ash was a robot. Before it went up in smoke, Ash predicted that all the crew members would be dead. The other three crew members decided to install a self-destruct device on the spacecraft and get away as soon as possible, but in the end only ripley escaped the attack of aliens. After throwing the aliens into space, ripley, who began to return, gradually fell asleep.
