He is also the deputy director of the National Steering Committee for Translation Degree Education of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, the member of the Steering Committee for Foreign Language Teaching in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, the member of the English Expert Committee for the National Translation Qualification (Proficiency) Examination (Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security), the member of the National Foreign Language Translation Proficiency Certificate Examination Committee (Ministry of Education), and the vice president of the China Translators Association.
