Gu assassinated Yang Jie.
Yang Jie, former president of Army University, was born in Yunnan. He and Zhang Qun, an important member of the Kuomintang, are the 10th artillery cadets of the Japanese Army NCO School. During the Northern Expedition, at the age of 22, he dropped out of school early and returned to China as the director of the Second Division of General Affairs of the Northern Expedition Army. After the Northern Expedition, he became the principal of Beiping Gendarmerie School. During the Second Revolutionary Civil War, Yang Jie was dissatisfied with Chiang Kai-shek's "communist suppression" policy and became the first senior Kuomintang official to oppose "communist suppression". 1933, Japanese invaders invaded the Great Wall. As the president of the Army University, Yang Jie led a huge corps to fight against the Japanese army. Later, he served as the ambassador of the National Government to the Soviet Union. On the eve of the full liberation of the mainland, Yang Jie was chased by Kuomintang agents because she went to Yunnan to mobilize the Lu Han Uprising, and later took refuge in Hong Kong.

After the defeat of the Kuomintang in Taiwan Province Province, Chiang Kai-shek began to punish those political opponents who thought he had failed. Yang Jie was the first choice, and Mao Renfeng was "hacked" and repeatedly urged. Mao Renfeng asked Gu to do it, and then handed it over to the spy chief who could speak Cantonese. The two murderers, Tian Jiujing and Han, who directly undertook the case, were found by Gu of the Technical Corps of the Ministry of National Defense. Both of them were collected from the puppet troops in Henan.

10 In late October, Ye Xiangzhi led a group of people to Hongkong to start work. Special agent Tian Jiujing served as the periphery, and Han came to the third floor of Yangjie apartment around 10 in the morning with a letter prepared in advance, falsely claiming that it was a letter from Taiwan Province. Yang Jie lets people enter the room unsuspecting. After reading the letter, Han lied to let him write a receipt so that he could go back to work. When Yang Jie bent down to write the receipt, Han pulled out his pistol and fired three shots at Yang Jie's head and heart. Yang Jie died on the spot. Afterwards, greedy Han dragged Yang's two suitcases down to the third floor. When Tian Jiujing arrived, he asked, "What are you doing with these?" Han couldn't help but answer: "They are all valuable treasures!" Tian Jiujing let him lose something and run.

Afterwards, the Hong Kong police quickly blocked the scene and found that Yang Zhai was in a mess and valuables were scattered on the stairs, so it was identified as a burglary and murder case. Unexpectedly, Han's whim made the whole killing more perfect.
