According to AEIC Academic Exchange Center, Xingtai Quartermaster College is now called Hebei Vocational College of Science and Technology Engineering. This is a newly-built higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education, which integrates the school resources of Science and Technology College of North China Electric Power University and Xingtai Vocational and Technical College. The school's predecessor was Xingtai Agricultural Machinery School established by 1979, and later renamed Xingtai Military Industry School. In 2002, it was transferred to Hebei Province to become a provincial university and renamed Xingtai Vocational and Technical College. Hebei Vocational College of Science and Technology Engineering has 10 departments, offering 10 undergraduate majors and more than 40 higher vocational majors, covering engineering, economy, management, art and other fields. Schools pay attention to the quality of education and personnel training, actively carry out scientific research and social services, and strive to build a high-level application-oriented university with characteristics and advantages.
