The newly established Anti-Corruption and Bribery Bureau in the Supreme People's Procuratorate is headed by Lu, the former deputy procurator-general of the Beijing Procuratorate. She has also become the first female director in the 20 years since the establishment of the Anti-Corruption General Administration.
According to public information, Lu, 57, works in the Political and Legal Committee of Beijing Municipal Committee and has worked in the procuratorial system since 2006. He has served as director of the Political Department of Beijing Procuratorate, procurator-general of the Second Branch of Beijing Procuratorate and deputy procurator-general of Beijing Procuratorate.
