1September 6, 949, the famous anti-Japanese Yang Hucheng and his son died tragically at the hands of secret agents at the age of 56. Up to now, nearly 70 years have passed, but when it comes to General Yang Hucheng, people are still full of respect for him.

Born in troubled times, Yang Hucheng's life is full of legends. Since the uprising to protect his family, he has made great achievements in a series of major battles.

In addition to being brave and good at fighting, Yang Hucheng's marriage life is also very tortuous. He has had three wives, but the most important one is Xie Baozhen.

19 13, Xie Baozhen, from Xianning, Shaanxi. When she was ten years old, her parents wanted her to learn some knowledge, so they sent her to Xi 'an girls' model primary school.

Xie Bao's family is not well off, and she cherishes the opportunity to go to school. She is a very hard-working child, thinking about how to live after studying hard.

But the reality is the farthest distance from the dream. Because of her poor family, she was forced to drop out of primary school before she graduated.

But at that time, the society had undergone earth-shaking changes, and the fire of revolution had quietly ignited all over the country. At that time, the poor had been oppressed for thousands of years, and the desire to turn over had reached its peak. More and more people are willing to leave their homes and join the revolutionary ranks.

People often go to Xie Baozhen's hometown to publicize revolutionary ideas. Young as she is, she is full of longing for the revolution. 1927, Xie Baozhen got the opportunity. In February of that year, Xie Baozhen was recommended by Xi Women's Federation to study in the women's physical education class of Sun Yat-sen College.

Although she is only fourteen years old, she is hot-tempered and timid. After entering the study class, she studied cultural knowledge and revolutionary ideas in Dai Yue, in order to grow up at an early date.

In the summer of the same year, Xie Baozhen, who devoted himself to serving the motherland and the people, volunteered to join the army. She cut off her pigtails, put on a military uniform and became a female soldier.

Shortly after joining the army, Xie Baozhen was assigned as the captain of the propaganda team under the Political Department. Soon after, Xie Baozhen was sent to Taihe County, Anhui Province to take charge of local women's work.

Although Xie Baozhen is only a teenager, he is not inferior to an adult at work. She is not only hardworking, but also very brave, and her whole body has inexhaustible strength.

After Xie Baozhen took office, she led the county women's Federation to organize various activities. She called on everyone to bravely participate in the anti-imperialist and anti-feudal struggle and resolutely fight the feudal remnants to the end. They held slogans and shouted slogans, openly opposed arranged marriages, and advocated giving full play to the role of women.

In order to publicize him more thoroughly, she led everyone to publicize from door to door, and at the same time she stayed at the city gate to persuade and educate the women who entered the city one by one.

At that time, women at the bottom of society had no chance to go to school. In order to solve this problem, Xie Baozhen applied to the organization to set up a poor girls' school in the county town to help those poor women study.

Xie Baozhen himself was born in poverty. She knows that poor women want to study, but conditions don't allow it. Therefore, through her own efforts, she helped more poor children realize their dream of studying.

While carrying out revolutionary activities with great fanfare, Xie Baozhen also met a like-minded revolutionary partner, that is, Yang Hucheng.

As early as the Northern Expedition, Yang knew Xie Baozhen. Later, Xie Baozhen was transferred to Yang's political department of the military region to do propaganda work, and the two had more opportunities to contact.

Xie Baozhen's revolutionary enthusiasm, lively enthusiasm, won Yang's appreciation. Unconsciously, this appreciation turned into admiration.

At that time, when talking with party member, Yang repeatedly expressed the hope that Xie Baozhen would help him "study". His implication is obvious that he wants to marry Xie Baozhen.

Xie Baozhen also has a good impression on the all-powerful General Yang Hucheng. Although the age difference between the two is 20 years, in the revolutionary era, as long as they have a common revolutionary ideal, age will naturally not become an obstacle to marriage.

1928, with the approval of the organization, Xie Baozhen and Yang Hucheng held a simple wedding.

At the wedding, someone asked Yang Hucheng, "Why did you choose to marry Xie Baozhen?"

Yang Hucheng looked at his wife and immediately said, "Because of her progressive thinking, she can help me at work."

Although Xie Baozhen is only fifteen years old, he has no stage fright in front of his guests. She said loudly: "I don't want any vows of eternal love, let alone any wealth and splendor, as long as I work together in the revolution."

After marriage, Xie Baozhen and Yang Hucheng were inseparable. She accompanied her husband to Japan to recuperate. During this period, Yang Hucheng applied to join our party and was approved by the organization. However, due to mistakes, the reply letter was not sent to Yang's injury. After several twists and turns, Xie Baozhen also lost contact with the organization, and she followed her husband to fight for the revolutionary cause.

When Yang Hucheng presided over the Shaanxi government, Xie Baozhen, as his wife, had been trying to help him with some daily work, including attending some social activities.

When Zhang Xueliang came to Xi with Zhao Yidi, Xie Baozhen also actively entertained them and did his best as a host. He not only invited them to his home, but also took the initiative to ask them out for a trip.

At the same time, she also worked hard to promote the education in Xi 'an, supported the establishment of the first midwifery school in Xi 'an, and donated money to some poor schools.

After several years of marriage, Xie Baozhen raised five children for Yang Hucheng. In order to better participate in the anti-Japanese work and reduce the burden of housework, she decided to send her children back to her hometown to be raised by her mother. When the country perishes, the reunion and separation of small families seem insignificant.

Without children around, Xie Baozhen devoted himself to fighting, organizing women's support clubs and raising money for the front line. And use their influence to fight against Japan and save the country.

After the "Xi Incident", Yang Hucheng surrendered his military power under the pressure of Chiang Kai-shek. Later, he visited the United States, accompanied by Xie Baozhen and his seven-year-old son.

The time of this investigation is very short, only a few months. After the full-scale outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Yang voluntarily returned to China to resist Japan. He returned to his motherland full of ambition and ambition, but he didn't expect a conspiracy waiting for him.

1937, just after getting off the plane, Yang Hucheng was tricked into Nanchang by the spy chief Dai Li and was detained. In fact, Xie Baozhen could have escaped, and she had already returned to her hometown.

But when he learned that Yang Hucheng was detained, Xie Baozhen was very painful. She knew that her husband was in trouble this time. So, after settling everything at home, I decided to go to Nanchang with my son Yang Zhengzhong to save her husband.

Xie Baozhen's mother didn't approve of her taking risks, but Xie Baozhen said, "Tiger City and I are husband and wife, and I must save him."

It is said that "husband and wife are birds in the same forest, and when disaster strikes, they fly separately", but Xie Baozhen is affectionate to Yang Hucheng until death do us part.

At this point, Yang Zhengzhong is almost eight years old. He didn't know what had happened, but he felt uneasy when he saw his mother crying all the time. He thought it would be nice to see his father, but he didn't expect a dark career waiting for him and his mother.

In the dark cell, there are no windows, no sunshine, only bottomless darkness and panic. Xie Baozhen and Yang Zhengzhong snuggle together tightly, and sometimes the son will ask, "When can I see my father?"

Xie Baozhen will comfort and say, "Wait a little longer, and we will definitely see Dad."

It was not until the next summer that they were taken out of their cells by the enemy. This time, the enemy sent them to see Yang Hucheng, who was detained in Taohuaping, Yiyang, Hunan.

It is very secluded, surrounded by mountains, and there are some low and shabby bungalows in the depths of the mountains. When Xie Baozhen and his son were taken to the bungalow, they finally met Yang Hucheng who missed him day and night.

Yang Hucheng couldn't believe his eyes when he saw his wife and son, but he then scolded, "It's so dangerous, why are you here?"

Xie Baozhen cried and said, "It's hard for you to be alone if we don't come."

Then the family of three hugged each other and cried. Yang Hucheng lived a very depressed and even painful life during his detention. Now he finally feels a little warm when he sees his relatives.

It's just that they didn't expect that it was not a year, two years or three years, but a long decade, and they didn't escape from the enemy until their lives came to an end.

Although Chiang Kai-shek also imprisoned Zhang Xueliang, he provided Zhang Xueliang with very good living conditions, from housing to diet to extracurricular activities, trying to meet his needs.

But the three members of Yang Hucheng's family are not so lucky. Their living conditions are very difficult. During their detention, they were repeatedly transferred from bungalows to dark and damp caves in order to avoid being seen by others, which was simply inhuman treatment.

But from beginning to end, Xie Baozhen didn't have any complaints. As long as I can stay with my husband, I have no regrets.

During his detention, Xie Baozhen had two children. Unfortunately, the first child died just eight days after his birth because of the harsh living environment.

When she gave birth to her second child, Xie Baozhen was not as healthy as before, and even had no milk. Yang pleaded again and again, and finally invited a wet nurse for the child.

Since then, the wet nurse has been living with Xie Baozhen's family. She is kind and simple, and helps a family of three in distress like a relative.

The most painful thing about being imprisoned is not only the poor living conditions, but also the lack of personal freedom. The enemy never leaves their pockets, and there are always some eyes staring at them, no matter day or night.

Although life was hard, Xie Baozhen did not respond negatively. She insisted on reading, writing and reading newspapers, and at the same time taught her son to study in person. Anyway, with her husband, she is very comfortable.

Unfortunately, however, the enemy later found out that she was a * * * person and began to torture her crazily. They mentally abused her, and the tenacious Xie Baozhen began to resist. She swore, but everything was in vain.

In addition, the enemy never let go of her daily life and gave her food with a whoosh. Because of Xie Baozhen's fierce resistance, they even called her a "mental illness" and forced her to separate from Yang.

Yang Hucheng often hears his wife's miserable cry. His heart ached, but there was nothing he could do.

Later, Dai Li came to see Yang. Under his pleading, Dai Li agreed to change the caretaker, but the newcomer had no kindness at all.

Suddenly, the family has been imprisoned for eight years. At this point, the eight-year War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression has ended. After hearing the news, Xie Baozhen and her husband were very excited.

On the one hand, they are excited about China's victory. On the other hand, they felt that Chiang Kai-shek should release them.

But in the end, they were disappointed. When they were taken away from Nanchang, what was waiting for them was not freedom and light, but Chongqing prison.

At this point, they were completely desperate. Xie Baozhen resisted again, but the result was the same. She was once again judged to be "mentally ill".

At this time, some subtle changes have taken place in Xie Bao's heart. She was thinking that if she died and the enemy saw Yang's pity, they would let him go.

Therefore, "death" has become her goal. As long as her husband and son can get out, she's dead. Such a strong and affectionate woman is awe-inspiring

From then on, Xie Baozhen began to do everything possible to let himself "die". First she went on a hunger strike, but it didn't work. She swallowed her gold ring again, and the enemy wouldn't let her die easily at all, so she was saved again.

The rescued Xie Baozhen has given up hope for life. She went on a hunger strike again and tortured herself.

1February 8, 947, Xie Baozhen was suddenly injected by the enemy and then died with a grudge. When Yang Hucheng heard the news, the enemy had covered his wife's body with white cloth.

Yang looked at his wife's body and burst into tears. If he hadn't been with him, Xie Baozhen wouldn't have died tragically. Yang was moved by his wife's feelings for himself.

Xie Baozhen thought that she was dead and the enemy released Yang, but she was naive. Her life is over, but her favorite family has not escaped the end of death.

Two years after Xie Baozhen's death, Yang Hucheng and his son died tragically at the hands of the enemy. They looked forward to the whole 12 years, and they didn't look forward to the day when they were released.

If Xie Bao really knows that her husband and a pair of children have died tragically, it must be very sad. In heaven, maybe a family can get together!

Xie Bao is really a great woman. She/kloc-joined the army at the age of 0/4. She used to run around for the revolutionary cause and made great sacrifices and contributions to the anti-Japanese work.

After becoming Yang's wife, she raised two children and five daughters. Unfortunately, some died young, some died at the hands of the enemy, and only four survived.

In that turbulent era, Xie Baozhen chose to share the same fate with her husband, even if it was to go to the grave together. Although their ending was tragic, their love was earth-shattering.

Especially Xie Baozhen, for the country and the family, she is a model of women!
