1989- 1997 engaged in the preparation, process experiment and application experiment of superhard coating on metal surface in Qingdao University of Science and Technology. 1997- Now, I am engaged in the research of nanocomposites in Qingdao University of Science and Technology. The main research direction is the surface strengthening technology of metal materials, the preparation and performance testing of nanocomposites. The key scientific and technological project of the Eighth Five-Year Plan "Study on the Industrialization of Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition of Hard Thin Films" (1993- 1997) passed the national appraisal in April 1997. The appraisal opinion holds that the research of this project is in a leading position in the world. PCVD-TiN coating is applied to aircraft high temperature resistant miniature bearings, which fills the gap in China. The project "Application Research of Plasma Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition of Hard Films" issued by Qingdao Science and Technology Commission (1996- 1998) passed the municipal appraisal in April 1998. The appraisal opinion holds that the project has reached the international advanced level in the use of some workpieces, and this technology has filled the domestic gap. The project "Study on Thermal Jet Vapor Deposition and Its Film Forming Mechanism" is supported by Shandong Natural Science Foundation.
