Mr Yao is good at China figure painting, painting flowers and birds, landscapes and learning western painting. On the basis of inheriting the tradition, his Chinese paintings absorbed the color of Impressionism, and his works have a unique style. He has participated in many international art exhibitions.

Lin Kai, a native of Fuzhou, Fujian, was born on June 1965 1924. Painters, seal engravers and poets.

Lin Kai lost his father when he was a child and lived with his mother at his grandfather's house since childhood. I liked art when I was a child. I started by copying cigarettes, and later copied Biography of Mustard Garden, and sometimes I went outdoors to paint with watercolors. At that time, there was no painting and calligraphy exhibition, and we would go to the nearby mounting shop to see the paintings every other day or two. Later, I bought a set of Complete Works of Ma Zi's Self-taught Paintings, and began to study in my spare time and winter and summer vacations. I was fascinated. In the summer vacation of junior high school, I began to learn to write old-style poems from my grandfather. The purpose is to draw my own poems, practice writing a landscape poem every day, and complete the 100 page album with a small painting.

1946 was admitted to the art department of Fujian Normal University, and got the guidance of teachers Xie Touba and Lin, so learning painting was on the right track. He has a strong interest in both Chinese and Western painting, studies hard and often visits Mr. Chen Zifen, an old painter in Fuzhou. Chen Lao's poetry, calligraphy and painting are omnipotent and have great educational significance. Teachers' College went to Hangzhou one year later and was admitted to the Department of Chinese Painting of National Art College. Face-to-face teaching by painters such as Huang, Pan Tianshou, Zhu Le has made rapid academic progress. ?

Lin Kai majored in landscape. Began to copy the ancient law, focusing on Yuan Sijia, Ming Sijia and the four kings of the Qing Dynasty, focusing on mastering the changes of ancient pen and ink; Next to them are four monks and eight monsters, aiming to understand their strange feelings and interests; At the same time, he drew nutrition from the works of Wu Changshuo, Qi Baishi, Huang and Pan Tianshou in modern times. I feel that the traditional method is too old. If we want to improve it, we should learn from the advantages of other paintings. So after class, I often go out to sketch western paintings with my classmates in the western painting classroom. In addition to professional techniques, there are calligraphy, seal cutting, poetics, art history and various theoretical courses every week. I have practiced the copybooks of Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, Su Dongpo and others since I was a child, so calligraphy is a little basic. I began to secretly love Zhao, and then I studied Weibei. Wei Bei's China noodles have changed from Zhang Menglong to Song Gaoling Temple, and I like everything. The round pen likes Shimen Ming, righteousness and Ming, and takes its quaint taste. The interest in seal cutting also began here. He sent more than 100 old-style poems accumulated to Mr. Pan Tianshou for revision, which was praised and encouraged. There is an ancient poem with seven poems, which he thinks is the best. He criticized: "this poem is elastic at first, and the beauty is that pearls, large and small, are poured into a plate of jade liquid. Congratulations!" ?

1950 graduated from the academy of fine arts, and was assigned to be an art teacher in middle school in Kangping county, western Liaoning at that time. One year later, he went to Beijing to work in People's Fine Arts Publishing House, focusing on art creation and engaged in some editing work. He has been working for 38 years. He created a large number of cartoons, New Year pictures, illustrations and posters, with emphasis on cartoons. Works such as Jigong's Clever Breaking of the Golden Fan and female directors are regarded as successful works in portraying characters. "Sanchakou" is a cartoon represented by Chinese painting and ink painting, which has been well received. Sino-Japanese War 1963 won the second prize of the first National Comic Award. "Animal Appreciation Meeting" won the first prize of Chinese painting in 1956 Beijing Youth Art Exhibition. 1957 painted the anti-Japanese theme "Japanese motorboats come again" for China Military Revolution Museum. 1959 painted a large-scale historical painting "Nie Jun Beats the Sangqin" for the Museum of Chinese Revolution. 1963, to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Cao Xueqin's birth, Liu Danzhai and He Youzhi jointly painted a large-scale ink painting "Biography of Cao Xueqin" 12 frames and participated in the exhibition. ?

During the "Cultural Revolution", Lin Kai was persecuted and/kloc-0 was sent to the May 7th Cadre School in Xianning, Hubei in 970. 1972 returned to the original unit and took office. 1975 has a new understanding of old-style poetry and thinks that old-style poetry can fully reflect the new era. So the old-style poems that have been abandoned for more than 20 years have been picked up again and continue to write. Seal cutting, which has been interrupted for many years, has gradually improved. After a period of concentrated discussion, he deeply felt that the key to the efficacy of seal cutting lies not in knives and stones, but in the basic skills and artistic accomplishment of calligraphy. For seal cutting, he prefers to be vigorous and vigorous all the way, pursuing the bold and unconstrained style of complexity and strictness, clumsiness and not bloated. Looking at the Qin and Han Dynasties, we learn from the strengths of Wu Changshuo, Qi Baishi and Lai Chusheng, and try our best to innovate with reference to contemporary popular masterpieces.

1979, People's Fine Arts Publishing House set up a workshop. Since then, Lin Kai began to take Chinese painting as his major. Mountains and rivers, people and flowers and birds go hand in hand. I used to focus on traditional discussion, but today I am keen on creating my own style. Besides painting, I also take care of calligraphy. Inscription combination, round when it meets, square when it meets, and pen freely. It retains the structure of Weibei, and adopts the brushwork of calligraphers Huang Daozhou and Shen in Ming and Qing Dynasties, which is simple and elegant. He realized that the four branches of poetry, calligraphy and painting were integrated, influencing each other and complementing each other. Poetry is picturesque, painting is poetic, the layout of painting affects printing, stone and stone's interest in printing helps to use pens, and calligraphy is the basis of printing. Our generation of painters have the responsibility to integrate poetry, books and paintings into one furnace, carry forward and inherit the advantages of previous literati paintings. ?

Since Lin Kai retired from 1988, he has been suffering from chronic diseases and has been working nonstop. 1994 was appointed as a librarian in central research institute of culture and history in July. National first-class painter, member of China Artists Association, member of China Calligraphers Association and member of China Poetry Society. In the process of more than 50 years of artistic practice, his works have often participated in exhibitions at home and abroad, and countless poems, paintings and articles have been published in newspapers and magazines, winning many awards. The singles include Selected Paintings of Lin Kai published by 1982, Selected Paintings and Calligraphy of Lin Kai published by 1988, Selected Paintings and Calligraphy of Lin Kai published by 1990, and Poems with Moss Patterns published by 1988.
