As for why not be played by Saburo Shinoda, who originally played Kotaro? As far as I know, there are several statements:

1, I took another play temporarily, but I couldn't catch up with Kotaro, so I temporarily asked Makoto Shimotsuka to perform instead.

Saburo Shinoda is a big shot, so he didn't come to perform because of his low salary.

I was sick and didn't come.
