What do Du's descendants do?
Du Yisheng had five wives, a total of 10 children and an adopted son. Among them, only Du Meiru and Du Weishan occasionally appear in public. What is even more surprising is that none of them take the road of mafia. They are well educated and most of them live overseas.

Du was buried at the foot of Dajian Mountain in Xizhi Town, Taipei County (now Xizhi District, New Taipei City) from/KLOC-0 to June, 952. The cemetery sits southeast facing northwest and faces Shanghai.

Located behind Xiufeng Primary School today, Chiang Kai-shek inscribed "Yi Jie Zhao Yu" in the cemetery. There used to be a memorial arch in the cemetery with the inscription "Yu Wen Zhang Yong" by Zhang Qun. Later, Xiufeng Primary School was established, the archway was demolished and the inscription was embedded in the cemetery. Du's tomb is accompanied by his wife Yao Jiaxiang's tomb.
