Yangcheng Lake belongs to Suzhou. Yangcheng Lake is five kilometers northeast of Suzhou City, spanning Wuxian County and Kunshan County. Although geographically across Kunshan, administrative jurisdiction still belongs to Suzhou. On the bank of Yangcheng Lake, it is adjacent to Shanghai in the east and Suzhou in the west. Beijing-shanghai railway and Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, National Highway 3 12, all pass by, only half an hour's drive from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport.

Yangcheng Lake, also known as Yangcheng Lake, is located in the northeast of Suzhou City and is one of the important freshwater lakes in Jiangsu Province. It has a unique water environment, geographical location and aquatic environment, and is rich in aquatic resources. It is rich in dozens of fresh water products. It is a storage lake for flood control, drainage, water diversion and irrigation in Yangcheng area. It is also the main drinking water source in Suzhou and Kunshan. Yangcheng Lake is a huff and puff lake, which receives water from Wang Yu and Changshu from the west and northwest. It flows eastward through Qiputang, Yanglintang and Loujiang (Liuhe) and enters the Yangtze River respectively. It is the regulating center of the tributary river network of Yangcheng Lake.
