According to Chong Quan, Deputy Representative of International Trade Negotiations of the Ministry of Commerce, China's foreign trade volume ranks among the top in the world, and it is currently the world's largest exporter and the second largest importer. China's foreign trade structure has undergone fundamental changes, and its export commodities have changed from primary products to finished products. At the same time, China has gradually formed an all-round and diversified import and export market pattern, and the international competitiveness of service trade has been continuously enhanced.

According to statistics, the proportion of China in world trade increased from 4.3% to 10.4% during the10 year after China's entry into WTO, in which the import of goods increased by 22% annually, the scale increased by 4.9 times, and the export increased by 2 1% annually and the scale increased by 4.7 times. On average, China imports 750 billion US dollars of goods every year, which is equivalent to creating more than/kloc-0.40 million jobs for its trading partners.
