Yuelu Mountain was named after "Nanyue is 800 Li, headed by geese, and Yuelu Mountain is enough" in Liu Song's Annals of Nanyue in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Yuelu Mountain is located on the west bank of Xiangjiang River in Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. Juzizhou is located in Xiangjiang River, from south to north, running through the center of the river, looking at Yuelu Mountain in the west and the ancient city in the east. There are 977 species of plants 174 families, 559 genera in Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area, mainly subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest and subtropical warm coniferous forest. Some areas have preserved a large area of primary evergreen broad-leaved secondary forests, as well as a large number of precious and endangered trees and ancient and famous trees. Yuelu Mountain is a famous cultural mountain that combines Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism with the essence of China culture. It contains the cultural connotation of Yuelu Mountain jointly developed by great scholars, monks, old people, poets and literati in history.
