At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the Axe King visited Fujian in the south and was in distress at sea. Lei Haiqing became a saint, keeping the monarch and his subjects safe. The Axe King was a little shocked when he saw that the heavenly soldiers in the clouds were surrounded by heavenly generals. The handsome flag is embroidered with the word "thunder", and the head of "rain" is covered by clouds, only the word "field" is exposed. I mistakenly thought that General Tian was a guard, so I wrote a letter to the title of "Marshal Heaven".

In the second year of Kaiyuan (AD 7 14), Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty set up a teaching workshop to select musicians. Lei Haiqing should be elected to the pear garden to manage the disciples who performed in the palace. An Shi Rebellion, An Lushan captured Chang 'an. Rebels looted officials, concubines and musicians, and Lei Haiqing was also arrested. The traitors held a banquet in Ningbichi, Luoyang, forcing more than 0/00 disciples in Liyuan/KLOC to sing and dance to celebrate.
Lei Haiqing refused and beat the thief with a pipa. He was immediately beheaded and put to death in the stable. After the Anshi Rebellion was put down, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty showed great kindness and named him "the great manager of the pear garden in the world". After Lei Haiqing's death, there were some legendary deeds, which were later named "Grand Marshal of Heaven" by Tang Suzong.
Lei Haiqing is known as "Marshal Tian Du" in Quanzhou, Fujian.
