Born on March 28th in Palm Beach, Florida, USA, 1946, grew up on a farm in barrington, Illinois, and believed in the Christian church.

1968 graduated from Dartmouth College with a bachelor's degree in English.

1970, he got an MBA from Harvard University.

1970- 1972 used to work in the Pentagon as an assistant secretary of defense of the US Department of Defense.

1972- 1973 During Nixon's administration, he served as an assistant to the White House President's Office.

1974 started working in Goldman Sachs Chicago branch.

1982 became a partner of Goldman Sachs.

From 65438 to 0990, he became the co-head of investment banking department of Goldman Sachs.

1994 was promoted to president and chief operating officer of Goldman Sachs and was nominated as CEO for the first time.

1998 became one of the senior partners of Goldman Sachs.

1999 Goldman Sachs went public and Paulson became the chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs.

In July 2006, he became the 74th US Treasury Secretary.
