Xie Hongde, deputy director of the Education and Employment Department of the China Disabled Persons' Federation, said that by the end of 2020, under the current national poverty standards, more than 7 million poor disabled people with files and cards will be lifted out of poverty as scheduled. However, some disabled families are at greater risk of returning to poverty. During the transition period of consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation, China Disabled Persons' Federation will establish a follow-up mechanism for the disabled, continue to implement various support policies of "two worries and three guarantees", further increase employment assistance and family industry assistance for the disabled, further promote cooperation between the east and the west for the disabled, and continuously improve the quality of life of the disabled.
