Cai E (1882 65438+February18-16 65438+1October 8), formerly known as Genyin, was born in Baoqing (now Shaoyang), Hunan. The posthumous work was compiled as Cai Songpo's anthology. In response to the Revolution of 1911, Cai E launched a war to defend the country against Yuan Shikai's Hongxian monarchy. He was an outstanding military leader in the early years of the Republic of China.
