1983 graduated from Chinese Department of Leshan Normal University and stayed in school. 1987 graduated from Nanchong Teachers College (now Xihua Teachers College) with a bachelor's degree in philosophy. 1987 to 1992 served as secretary of the Youth League Committee of Leshan Normal University. 1992 to 1994 served as deputy secretary of the Party branch of the Fine Arts Department of Leshan Normal University. 1994 to 1997 served as deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office of Leshan Normal University. 1997-2000 Director of Leshan Teachers College Office (Party Office, School Office, Foreign Affairs Office). From 2000 to 2002, he served as the director of the president's office of Leshan Normal University. Since 2002, he has served as vice president of Leshan Teachers College.
