He has been engaged in the application research of computer technology, network information technology and artificial intelligence technology in mechanical engineering for a long time, mainly engaged in the research of advanced manufacturing technology, including intelligent manufacturing, distributed manufacturing system, virtual manufacturing technology, networked manufacturing and enterprise integration. Integration of distributed manufacturing system based on multi-agent, cooperation and coordination of distributed manufacturing system, intelligent manufacturing unit and intelligent controller, distributed processing of manufacturing information and manufacturing intelligence, manufacturing knowledge and information sharing technology based on distributed object technology (CORBA), modeling and simulation of manufacturing system and manufacturing process based on Petri net, intelligent scheduling of manufacturing resources, intelligent monitoring of machining state and equipment, optimization and adaptive setting of machining parameters, intelligent control of manufacturing process, networked intelligent manufacturing equipment, etc. He has successively undertaken major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, key projects, general projects, Sino-Hong Kong joint funded projects (NSFC-RGC), Sino-Singapore international cooperation projects on intelligent manufacturing, national defense science and technology pre-research projects, doctoral programs funded by the State Education Commission, etc. Published more than 60 papers. Won the first prize and the second prize of scientific and technological progress of the Ministry of Education. Publish a national key textbook.
The research projects mainly include the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The research focuses on the theory and key technologies of digital manufacturing equipment supporting network collaboration. The main contents include the principles and methods of multi-source heterogeneous information perception and adaptation of digital manufacturing equipment under the network environment, the theory of collaborative decision support for heterogeneous equipment, the adaptive collaborative mechanism and behavior adaptive control of digital manufacturing equipment based on the evolution of state, working condition and dynamic performance.
