Huang was born in Huangjia Village, Xiaowu Township, Xiaogan City, Hubei Province in May 2004. I once used the name Huang Yongchuan.

He has served as an independent brigade soldier, squad leader, platoon leader, political instructor, guard captain of Huang An Independent Division Political Department, translator of Red Fourth Front Army Command, student of Xinjiang Air Force, political instructor and factory director of Northeast Aviation School, director of outfield department of Air Force Engineering Department, director of North China Air Force Engineering Department, deputy director of Naval Aviation Engineering Department, and director of Air Force Engineering Department of East China Fleet (deputy rank). Participated in the third and fourth counter-campaigns against "encirclement and suppression" in the revolutionary base areas of Hubei, Henan and Anhui, the three-way siege and the six-way siege in the revolutionary base areas of Sichuan and Shaanxi, and the Red Fourth Army's Long March and the West Road Army fought bloody battles. 1955 won the third-class August 1st Medal, the third-class Independence and Freedom Medal and the third-class Liberation Medal. 1988 won the second-class Red Star Meritorious Medal. He died in Ningbo on October 5th, 2005.
