Xu Ruigeng, a native of Rugao, Jiangsu Province, 1936, graduated from university. Studio Gong Ji Zhai is also a famous camel room. Painter of Rugao Painting and Calligraphy Institute, special painter of Nantong Academy of Fine Arts, member of Jiangsu Wende Landscape Painting Research Association, director of China National Painters Association. He studied under Zhu Gan, a famous landscape painter, and Professor Huang from Jiangnan University, and graduated from the first China Traditional Chinese Painting Research Association. This year, it is mainly based on mountains and rivers, covering famous mountains and rivers and places of interest in East China, Central South China, Southwest China and Northwest China. I have explored the Shu Road, walked out of Jiayu, crossed Tianshan Mountain, crossed Gobi, stepped into pastoral areas, waded into snowy plains, faced Yulong, entered Yaozhai, entered Dai family, observed folk customs and learned the spirituality of nature.

There are thousands of manuscripts of "Nature from the outside to the inside, Heart from the inside to the outside". His works are magnificent, artistic conception-oriented, frank and simple, elegant and fresh, or vigorous and dignified. His works and artistic papers have been published in Guangming Daily, Art Newspaper, China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper, Art, Philippine Business Daily, New Year Collection of China Ink Painting Materials, etc. During the period of 1995, The Travels of Pamir won the Excellence Award in the China Sports Calligraphy and Painting Competition, and works such as The Travels of Pamir, pass the parcel and Wandering on Silk Road participated in provincial, municipal and national exhibitions, and won the gold medal, the first prize and the Excellence Award. Many works have been collected by friends and units in Japan, the United States, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Hongkong and Taiwan Province. His biography has been included in many dictionaries, such as China Calligrapher's Dictionary, World Calligrapher's Dictionary, and Who's Who in China's Literary and Art Circles. He has held solo or joint exhibitions of landscape painting in Beijing, Nanjing, Nantong and Osaka, Japan.

Donghai Tang Painting and Calligraphy Museum was established, and Rugao College Students' Art Exhibition was successfully held 1998. In recent years, gratifying achievements have been made in cultivating new seedlings and exchanging calligraphy and painting.
