The security forces are active forces led by public security organs. Although it is a part of the armed police, it is directly led by the public security organs and assisted by the superior armed police forces.

The Security Bureau is generally the Security Bureau of the Provincial Public Security Department, which is mainly responsible for the security of provincial leaders, organs and important facilities.

The Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, under the jurisdiction of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force, belongs to the grass-roots units of the active public security forces and has the rank of armed police.

It should be noted that the number of the Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security within the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China is the Eighth Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, which cannot be called the Eighth Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security.

The Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security and the the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Security Bureau are not a unit.
