Brief introduction of Chen Xiying.
Chen Xiying is Chen Yuan (1896— 1970), a literary critic and translator. The word Tong Bo, pen name Chen Xiying. People from Wuxi, Jiangsu.

Chen Yuan 19 10 graduated from the primary school attached to Nanyang Public School (now Nanyang Model Middle School). 19 12 studied in the UK with the support of my cousin Wu Zhihui, and studied political economy at the University of Edinburgh and the University of London successively. 1922 returned to China as a professor of foreign languages in Peking University.

1927 married Ling Shuhua, a female writer, and later supported Chiang Kai-shek's anti-communism. 1929, Professor and Dean, School of Literature, National Wuhan University. Later, he served as a member of the National Political Committee.

1943, works for the British-Chinese Council in London. 1946 became the permanent representative of Paris National Government to UNESCO. 1965, China established diplomatic relations with Taiwan Province province and refused to leave the French embassy in France. Later, he was helped out by the bailiff.
