Guo Desheng (1911March12 [1]-199010/October 30th) is one of the founders of Sun Hung Kai Properties. During the Japanese invasion of China, he fled to Hong Kong with his family. After the re-emergence of Hong Kong, a Hong Kong Ji grocery store was opened in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, dealing in the wholesale of groceries and industrial raw materials. Later, it was renamed Hongchang Department Store Wholesale Bank. 1952 Established Hongchang Import and Export Company, specializing in the wholesale of foreign goods. I have been engaged in import and export business in Hong Kong, with sales all over the province, Hong Kong, Macao and even Southeast Asia. It is called "the king of foreign goods"

From 65438 to 0958, Guo Desheng, Lee Shau Kee and Feng Jingxi jointly established Yongye Enterprise Company to set foot in real estate development. 1963, three people contributed 1 10,000 Hong Kong dollars to establish Sun Hung Kai Company.

1990 when Guo died, the market value of Sun Hung Kai Properties reached HK$ 25.4 billion, 62 times higher than when it was first listed.
