Five ships made a friendly visit overseas.
The naval voyage visit formation set sail on April 23rd, consisting of three ships, namely Changchun Ship, Jingzhou Ship and Chaohu Ship. It is planned to make friendly visits to more than 20 countries including Asia, Europe, Africa and Oceania for nearly 180 days. As of today, it has lasted 149 days. On September 4th, Xu Ping, political commissar of the formation, introduced in an interview that they had visited six countries in Asia, Africa, Europe/KLOC-0.

After the exercise, the formation visited Finland and Latvia in early August. After 24 days' continuous sailing, we arrived in Cape Town, South Africa on September 1 for a three-day replenishment after passing through the North Sea, the English Channel, the Bay of Biscay and the South Atlantic. At present, the military has not announced the latest progress of the formation.

Among the eight troops, the 26th escort formation has the longest time to go abroad. On April/KOOC-0/day, its formation consisting of Huanggang, Yangzhou and gaoyou lake ships set sail from Zhoushan for the Gulf of Aden and Somali waters, which has been nearly/KOOC-0/70 days.

It is reported that the base mainly provides effective guarantee for me to participate in escort, peacekeeping and humanitarian relief in Africa and West Asia, and also helps me to better carry out overseas tasks such as military cooperation, joint performance and training, evacuation and protection of overseas Chinese, and emergency rescue, and jointly safeguard the safety of international strategic passages with relevant parties.
