Community committees generally refer to community residents' committees. Referred to as "neighborhood committees" and "community neighborhood committees", they are residents' organizations of urban streets and administrative towns in Chinese mainland, that is, self-governing organizations of urban residents. Its status is similar to that of villagers' committees in agricultural areas, and its service targets are mainly urban non-agricultural residents. According to the provisions of the Organic Law of Residents' Committees, community residents' committees are grass-roots mass self-governing organizations for residents' self-management, self-education and self-service. Article 3 Community committees refer to community party committees (or general party branches and party branch departments), community residents' committees and community internal affairs supervision committees. Community Party Committee (or General Party Branch, Party Branch) refers to the the Communist Party of China (CPC) grass-roots organization established in the community according to the provisions of Constitution of the Communist Party of China, with the whole community party member as the organization object. Sub-district offices are the agencies of the Municipal People's Government or administrative committees (such as the Administrative Committee of Economic and Technological Development Zone). Under the leadership of the Municipal People's Government or the functional area management committee, exercise the functions and powers entrusted by the District People's Government or the functional area management committee.
