Chen Wenliang's artistic resume.
Chen Wenliang, a native of Sheyang, Jiangsu, 1953, executive deputy secretary of the Party Group of China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, director of the research department of China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, member of China Calligraphers Association, director of China Great Calligraphy Series, dean of the Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Hengxing College of China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, and former chief economist of Shandong Administration for Industry and Commerce.

I loved literary creation and calligraphy since I was a child. I 1970 joined the army and was awarded the rank of "China People's Liberation Army Senior Colonel". Engaged in the drafting of military documents for more than 30 years, learned the writing skills of hard pen and brush. During this period, I studied the calligraphy posts, tablets, poems and quatrains of many famous ancient calligraphers such as Wang Xizhi, Wen Zhiming, Zhao Mengfu, Mi Fei, Sun and Wang Duo. Especially in the works of calligrapher Wang Xizhi, his words are graceful and elegant, such as "turbulent water attracts people" and his words are "a cliff closes a house". His calligraphy draws lessons from the "running script" and "cursive script" in the four books, and forms its own system.
