Introduction to Longchiyan Scenic Area:

Longchiyan is located in Wenpu Mountain, Bai Jiao Village, jiao mei zhen, Longhai City, with beautiful scenery. There is Kannonji in the world. I don't know when it was built. According to the research of people close to it, it was in the early years of Song Wudi in the Southern and Northern Dynasties (420422), which has been 1500 years. According to legend, in the fourth year of Huichang, Tang Wuzong (844), Prince Li Chen traveled all over the country with Duanji Zen Master and arrived at Longchiyan. I am glad that the mountains are dense and the rocks are full of springs, so I can take a long bath and get rid of the heat in summer. Because I love the autumn moon Zen forest, who can go back to the Dragon Palace? Smell the dew of French cuisine at night and enjoy entering the lotus world.

Because the real dragon entered the pool, it was called Longchiyan. Later, a stone arch bridge was built on the spring and the word Yuelong was carved. The inscription of Huapu lecture hall in the temple records that the Xie brothers who were scholars in the Tang Dynasty studied hard here. During the Five Dynasties, Hong Wenyong, the main book, lived in seclusion here. In order to commemorate the deeds of the sages, Yang Zhi, the Song Jinshi, established the Sanxian Hall to honor the sages. In the eighteenth year of Shaoxing (1 148), Zhu, a Song Dynasty philosopher, was awarded the Master Book of Tongan. When he was awarded the title of Three Sages Hall, he visited it. Later, he established Yuping Lecture Hall in Longchiyan, and students from all over the world came to the rock for advice. In the study, Zhu was deeply impressed by reading, and wrote a poem: When a half-acre square pond opened, the sky and the clouds wandered together, asking that the canal was so clear that there was flowing water at the source. As far as Yuping Lecture Hall is concerned, many nearby villages have also built bookshelves on this rock with the proceeds from public bookstores for their children to learn. Legend has it that there are 99 bookshelves, built on the mountain, row upon row, magnificent.

Zhuzi inscribed the first tablet of Xishan Mountain and renamed it Huapu Academy, which became a famous university in ancient southern Fujian. There is also a Paimen Temple, where Zhu lives. According to legend, Zhu once taught students to be polite to their teachers. Anyone who asks for advice must knock on the door first and get permission before entering. The stone beside the temple is engraved with the word "knock on the door"

In the first year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1368), Hu Ye, a famous Confucian, once set up a museum to give lectures here. Cui, and Pu Kui all became famous through study. Commonly known as the Eighteen Scenes of Longchi, the scenery is charming. Although most of Huapu Academy collapsed in 1000, there are still many relics: Yuelong Bridge in front of the temple and Rainbow Bridge (or Ling Han Bridge) behind the temple are exquisite arch bridges.

There is a flat stone that can seat more than a dozen people. There is also a touching legend on this stone: in March of the ninth year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1652), Jin Chen, governor of Fujian and Zhejiang, stationed tens of thousands of troops in Tongan, confronted Zheng Chenggong, who was defending Jiangdong, and Zheng Chenggong was ambushed in Longchiyan. Once, after the deployment of troops, I had a little spare time and played chess with Chen Ze of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on this stone, but the game didn't end. After the war, Zheng Jun won a great victory. Later, in order to commemorate Zheng Chenggong's record and interest, Bai Jiao people carved the word "interest" on the stone.

In addition, around the temple, there are more than 20 cliff stone carvings and inscriptions inscribed by Zhu in Song Dynasty, Danzao stone inscribed by Huang Wenchuan in Qing Dynasty, Matsui Fengqing inscribed by Huang Dunyang, Fu Longyan and Hanjiang River, etc., which are still a scenic spot.
