Senju Hashirama, the first generation of Naruto, is a character in the Japanese comic book Naruto and its derivative works. He is the leader of a thousand-handed clan and one of the founders of Muye Village, and enjoys the title of "Ninja God".
He is bold and cautious, good at using "wood-avoiding mysticism" and capable of manipulating bijuu. It defeated Uchihiro Madara in the Valley of Doomsday, temporarily guarding the peace of Konoha, and was once resurrected by orochimaru in the form of filth after death.
