Life story When Emperor Yao lived, the Central Plains was flooded and the people were miserable. Gun was ordered to control water for nine years, and the flood was not flat. Shun traveled all over the world and found that Gun had made no achievements in controlling water with interception, and was finally executed in Yushan. Then he ordered Yu, the son of Gun, to take over the water control. After receiving the task, Yu immediately called troops to rescue with Iraq and Hou Ji. He inspected the river course, reviewed the reasons for the failure of Gun, decided to reform the water control method, changed interception into diversion, crossed the mountains and mountains by himself, waded across the river, held tools, measured the terrain from west to east, set a benchmark and planned the waterway.

He led the migrant workers in charge of water conservancy throughout the country, cutting mountains on every mountain according to the benchmark, building dikes to prevent depressions, dredging waterways and leading floods into the sea. I tried my best to control water, not afraid of hard work, and never dared to rest. Shortly after their marriage, he left his wife and Tu Shanshi, whose female name was Nv Jiao, and set foot on the road of water control again. Later, when I passed by the door, I heard the voice of my wife giving birth to a child and the voice of my son falling to the ground. They all bit their teeth and did not enter the house. When he passed by for the third time, his son Zheng Qi was in his mother's arms. He can already call his father, waving his little hand and greeting Yu. I just waved to my wife and children to show that I saw it, but I still didn't stop. Yu San's staying at home is the best proof of his efforts to control water.

I am also concerned about the sufferings of the people. On one occasion, Yu saw a man who was so poor that he sold his child and redeemed it. Seeing that some people had no food, he asked Hou Ji to share the only food with the people. I wore tattered clothes, ate humble meals and lived in a humble tent. I personally held it every day and took the lead in doing the most bitter and dirty work. After a few years, his legs and arms were depilated, his palms and soles were covered with thick calluses, his body was shriveled and his face was dark. After 13 years' efforts, they opened up countless mountains, dredged countless rivers and built countless dams, which made all the rivers in the world flow to the sea, and finally succeeded in controlling water and curing floods. The land just after the flood receded was too wet, so Yi Fa was asked to sow seeds for people and teach them to grow rice.

In the process of water control, I traveled all over the world and knew all about the topography, customs and products. Yu re-planned the world as Kyushu, and formulated the tribute varieties of each state. Yu also stipulated that the place 500 miles away from the Imperial Capital was called Dianfu, another 500 miles away was called Houfu, another 500 miles away was called Suifu, another 500 miles away was called Huangfu, and the last 500 miles was called Huangfu. Dian, Hou and Sui wear different goods or services. Serve, not serve, only accept discipline and abide by laws and regulations. Waste clothes are managed according to their customs, and politics and religion in China and South Korea are not enforced.

Because of Yu's success in harnessing the water, Shun Di gave Yu a jet laurel at a grand ceremony to commend his achievements, and announced his success and the great governance of the world to all people in the world. Soon, he named Apollo and Xia as countries. Yu's prestige in the world has reached its peak. Everyone praised: if there were no spare time, we would have become fish and turtles.

Emperor Shun praised Yu and said, Yu, Yu! You are my arms, thighs, ears and eyes. I want to benefit the people, you help me. I want to observe the sky, know the sun, the moon, the stars and embroider clothes. You can inspire me. I want to hear six methods, five tones and eight tones to cure chaos and spread five virtues. You help me. You never denigrate me to my face or behind my back. You use your sincerity, virtue and example to make North Korea clean and innocent. You carry forward my virtues, and you have made great contributions! In the thirty-third year of Shundi, he officially recommended Yu to Tiandi and gave him the throne. Seventeen years later, Shun died during his southern tour. Three years later, Yu took refuge in Yangcheng and gave the throne to Shun's son. All the princes in the world left to see Yu. With the support of governors, Yu officially proclaimed himself emperor, with Anyi as his capital and Xia as his title. Danzhu enfeoffment system In the Tang Dynasty, the enfeoffment system merchants were in danger. Change the calendar day to Yin Jianyue as the first month. He also collected copper from all over the world and cast it into Jiuding as a symbol of the world's common master.

When he became emperor, Yu worked harder for the welfare of the people, sincerely recruited scholars and listened to the opinions of the people extensively. Once, when he went out, he saw a sinner, got off the bus to meet him and began to cry. The waiter said, why should a sinner feel sorry for him when he has done something bad? Emperor Yu said: When Yao Shun was in power, the people were United with Yao Shun. Now my heart is different, how can I not be sad? Edie made some wine. After drinking it, Emperor Yu thought it was delicious. He gave Yidi an order to stop making wine, saying: There must be descendants who will die because of wine.

Shortly after Yu acceded to the throne, he was elected as his successor, with full authority to handle state affairs. After Hao Tao's unfortunate death, he elected Boyi as his successor to take charge of government affairs.

Yu visited the south in the tenth year of his reign. When crossing the river, a yellow dragon swam over and arched the big boat, and everyone on board was very scared. The Jade Emperor sighed. I am an order from heaven. Live by the help of heaven, and return to heaven when you die. Why are you worried about this dragon? Hearing this, the dragon shook its tail, lowered its head and disappeared. The Jade Emperor went to Tu Shan, where he met all the governors in the world, and tens of thousands of them presented themselves to the court.

Yu died on the throne ten years later and reigned for forty-five years. His temple name is Saint Zu, and posthumous title was later named Yu.

Great Contributions His main contributions are as follows: First, the establishment of the Xia Dynasty, the first hereditary country in China's history, marked the beginning of our slave society; The second is to control the Yellow River.
