On June 5438+ 10, 2000, Master Ji Le, Vice President of Guangxi Buddhist Association, visited Hepu Dongshan Temple. When he saw that the thousand-year-old temple, which was built in the Jin Dynasty and was said to be the residence of monk Zhu in the Tang Dynasty, was now in ruins. Therefore, he couldn't bear the decline of his ancestral home, and didn't want all beings in Zhuxiang to lose this piece of pure land in Futian, so he sprouted the wish of revival and was invited by Guangxi Buddhist Association and Hepu Dongshan Temple as the abbot of the temple. Later, the master made extensive contact with all kinds of good people, and together with all the masters in the temple and local believers, braved the scorching sun, faced the wind and rain, moved bricks and tiles and diligently repaired them. In the past four years, temple affairs have been greatly handled and the ancient temple has been revitalized.
