Duancun Town, Anxin County, Hebei Province, located on the north bank of Baiyangdian Lake, the largest freshwater lake in central Hebei Province, is one of the administrative units of Anxin County 12 township. It covers an area of 69 square kilometers and has a population of 43,000 (data in 2006). Most of them are Han nationality, and there are three minority villagers: Manchu, Hui and Zhuang. The town government was originally stationed in Dongdi Village, but now it has moved to the middle section of Baiyang Street.
