Under the leadership and call of the CPC Central Committee and with the active support of the Youth League Committee of our college, our department aims to further study, study, understand and implement the documents and spirit of the central, provincial and college on ideological and political work for college students, comprehensively study the successful experience and effective methods of ideological and political work for college students, scientifically analyze the current situation, existing problems, situations and tasks faced by college students, and strengthen the ideological and political work for college students in our department by using all available channels. In the past three years, our department has strengthened and improved the ideological and political education of college students through a series of activities, and achieved remarkable results and great achievements.

The specific work of our department is as follows:

First, in the past three years, our department has persisted in educating students with the Party's important ideas, closely combined with the hot, important and difficult issues in our department's work, study and life, conscientiously implemented the Central Committee's Opinions on Strengthening Ideological and Political Education for College Students, integrated it into the colorful ideological education activities of our school and our department, organized experts and teachers to systematically study the ideological and moral cultivation of our students, and opened a series of related lectures and publicity work. For example, "a vivid and touching ideological and political education class"-the first batch of volunteers to support the west, Zheng Yulan, a graduate of our department in 1999, went back to his alma mater to give a report; Starting from the reality of ideological and political education-strengthening and improving lectures on ideological and political education for college students. Second, our department also gives full play to the influence and propaganda role of our department, student cadres and class committees, strengthens ideological and political education, and strives to provide scientific theoretical knowledge and services for strengthening the practice of ideological and political education. And actively cooperate with the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League to strengthen the awareness education activities of League members, and the publication "Politics and Law Online" published a special edition of League knowledge theory to provide a learning platform for all students. Third, our department offers lectures on learning and carrying forward national traditional virtues to commemorate the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, and carries out national spirit propaganda activities through online politics and law, spark, class propaganda and other channels to enhance students' sense of social responsibility and national pride. Through various channels and ways, strengthen students' patriotism education, so that students can deeply understand the party's current historical tasks and the past revolutionary situation, carry forward the national spirit, cultivate national feelings, strengthen spiritual construction, and guide students with scientific ideal and belief education. Strive to establish students' correct world outlook, outlook on life and values. At the same time, our department publicized patriotism education in major festivals and activities such as the 55th anniversary of the founding of XX New China and the 60th anniversary of the victory of XX Anti-Japanese War, and actively cooperated with the CPC Central Committee to strengthen the ideological and political cultivation of college students.

Fourthly, in the winter vacation and summer vacation of XX, according to the decisions of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Education Department of the Provincial Party Committee and the Communist Youth League Committee, our department organized all the students to carry out social practice activities of loving the motherland and Fujian during the winter vacation, and guided the students to get to know and understand the society through social practice and personal experience during the winter vacation, make contributions to the construction of their hometown, and make every effort to encourage them to study hard and become talents for building the economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Strait and building their own beautiful homes. Fifth, the improvement of students' ideological and moral cultivation in our department is also reflected in the achievements of students' professional courses and ideological and moral courses, as well as the quality and work of student cadres. Our department has a set of institutionalized, standardized and programmed system in student work. At present, there are 99 department-level student cadres above Class B in our department. Most student cadres have a strong sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for work, and have achieved good results in teacher-student cooperation and student cadre coordination. They also hold regular meetings between the four major organizations to summarize the work of each department, exchange work and report work plans, so as to achieve the purpose of feedback, organization and efficiency, and make the League learning work of our department better carried out.

6. There is a student party branch in our department. There are 43 students in party member, including 25 students in Grade 02, 7 students in party member. Seventh, our department is strengthening the ideological and political work of college students, which is also reflected in the work norms of student organizations in our department:

1, duty system

The personnel on duty are composed of student cadres, who are mainly responsible for being on duty in the activity room, checking the daily behavior of students and student cadres, reporting problems in time, and ensuring the cleanliness and property safety of the activity room. Student cadres should sign in to the activity room at least three times a week, take the lead in wearing the league emblem and play a leading role. At the same time, students of our department can be seen in all kinds of competitions in our college, and our students have achieved good rankings in all kinds of competitions in our college. My academic performance is not very good, but I have gained a lot in the process of learning. First of all, I corrected my learning attitude. When I entered the university, my idea was to relax myself from the heavy pressure, but I soon understood that the university still needs to study hard. Seeing that all the students around me are studying hard, I also gave up my original intention and started my study trip in college. Secondly, my self-study ability has been greatly improved. Because university teaching is no longer like cramming teaching in senior high school, but a lesson tells a lot of knowledge, and it is not enough to rely solely on class attendance. This requires after-class exercises to consolidate what you have learned in class, and you must do your own research and often go to the library to look up some relevant materials. Personally, I think my weakness is that I like dual-use or even multi-use. I am eager for quick success. I like to learn a lot at once, but I can't finish it. If I concentrate on learning a knowledge for a period of time, I believe I can understand and master this knowledge more deeply. Since I found out that I have this shortcoming and problem, I have been telling myself that I can't do two things at once after entering the society.

Through four years of college life, I have learned a lot of knowledge, and more importantly, I have the ability to master a new thing quickly. My thoughts have become more mature and my character has become more determined. I have met many classmates and teachers, established friendship, and improved my quality in the interaction with them, realized some of my shortcomings and tried to correct them. Social practice ability has also been greatly improved, laying the foundation for the future society.

In this kind of ideological and political study, I have gained a lot from every study, including self-examination, self-supervision, self-correction and self-improvement, and I was most impressed twice.

One is a discussion study with the theme of "the main qualities that college students should have". In this study, I learned what qualities I should have, what I have at present and what I still lack. This also set a direction for my future study and life. Another time, I was deeply impressed, which was the last time of this semester. At that time, Teacher ZH was invited to attend, and her words moved me very much. She doesn't need to talk about anything big, just list some things that we think are "small things" in our lives. She looked at the record and said that even if you are late for such ideological and political study, you will only perform worse in class at ordinary times. While I am glad that I have achieved nothing in this semester's ideological and political study, I also secretly admire the simple and profound truth spoken by the teacher and reflect on my previous life and study.

As a student who wants to join the party actively, his advanced nature is reflected in such "small things" he has done in his life. What he did, in the eyes of other students, should be more strict with himself, and students should not be allowed to "even join the party activists ...".

Regarding ideological and political study, if there is anything that needs to be improved, I personally think the form is a bit monotonous. Almost every time the group leader speaks, everyone repeats their ideas in turn, and sometimes it seems that some people speak reluctantly, and sometimes the atmosphere of the whole study and discussion is a bit boring.

Even if we are still discussing research in the future, I have two suggestions. First of all, you can invite teachers such as Secretary H, Teacher Z and Teacher ZH to attend. Second, the theme and content of study should be carefully chosen, and you can occasionally choose some topics that are slightly controversial or closely related to your study and employment. I think it may be easier to mobilize and stimulate everyone's enthusiasm for study and discussion, and the ideas may be richer and deeper, which is more conducive to improving the effect of our ideological and political study.
