About the author:
Lv Simian (1884— 1957), a native of Changzhou, Jiangsu, is a famous historian and master of Chinese studies. In his life, he wrote two general histories of China, four dynastic histories, five special histories and many historical theories, which enjoyed a high reputation in the history circle.
