Shouyang County belongs to Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province. Located in the east of Shaanxi Province, it is located in the pillow of Heng Yue, winding in the Taihang Mountains and living in the middle and upper reaches of the river. The whole terrain is higher in the northwest and north, and gradually inclines to the southeast, showing a ladder-like distribution; The total area of the county is 2 1 10 square kilometers. Historical evolution:

In the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), it belonged to Jining Road, and then directly belonged to the province. 1949 March, after the establishment of Taiyuan Municipal People's Government, it was under the jurisdiction of Taiyuan Municipal Agency, and in June of the same year, it was under the jurisdiction of Yuci Agency (hereinafter referred to as Jinzhong Administrative Office). In 2000, Jinzhong City was established from the ground, and Shouyang County was under the jurisdiction of Jinzhong City.
