Information about cats: a brief introduction to cats.
Cats are common pets and one of the earliest domesticated animals. They belong to cats and are small carnivores. Cats are flexible, have sharp claws and teeth, and are very adaptable. They are excellent hunters.

Cats are relatively small, generally about 40-50 cm long and weigh between 2-5 kg. Their coat colors are varied, such as black, white and gray. Their fur is soft and smooth. Most cats have vertical pupils in their eyes, which makes them better able to catch prey when hunting at night.

Cats are typical carnivores, mainly feeding on small mammals, birds and insects. Their digestive system adapts to foods with high protein and fat. Cats have teeth suitable for biting and chewing meat, and barbs on their tongues can help them clean their hair.

Cats are gregarious animals and like to establish close relationships with humans. They can communicate with people through different voices and postures. For example, a purr indicates satisfaction and friendliness, and a shrill cry indicates dissatisfaction or fear. Cats also use physical contact to express closeness and dependence.

The life span of cats is generally around 10- 15 years, but there are some exceptions. Some kinds of cats can live for more than 20 years. In order to keep cats healthy, we need to provide proper diet, regular veterinary examination and moderate exercise.
