Li's characters experience
Li was born in Chencun, Shunde, the hometown of overseas Chinese in Guangdong. 1963 joined Guangdong Music and Quyi Troupe and worked in art for more than 40 years. She has rich playing experience, dignified manners, beautiful timbre and delicate lines. Her unique vocal art of split throat is popular at home and abroad, and has won the love and praise of audiences in Hong Kong, Macao, the United States, Canada, Australia and other places. Li is known as "the representative of the authentic split throat of Cantonese opera today".

After Li Yu 199 1 immigrated to Canada, he founded the "Li Theatre Art College" in Jiacheng, which promoted the overseas development of Guangdong Cantonese opera art and spread the traditional culture of the Chinese nation. In 2005 and 2006, she held solo concerts in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and her hometown of Chencun, Shunde. Her melody expressed deep feelings, attracted the audience, and was well received. This time, Li once again reported to the villagers her outstanding achievements in working hard overseas, spreading Chinese culture and cultivating artistic talents. On April 8, 2007, Li also held an affinity ceremony with Macao disciples in Guangzhou. Li returned to Chencun Town, Shunde District, where he was born. Together with his daughter, the head of Foshan Youth Cantonese Opera Troupe and Hua Dan, with the support of local villagers, local leader Ou Guangyuan and former Guangzhou Mayor Li, he performed the opera "Youyou Homesickness" and sang songs on stage. In the evening, Li sang three famous songs, sang an impromptu song "Flower Full Moon" with Li He, and co-performed three discount plays with members of Foshan Youth Cantonese Opera Troupe. Among them, Han Xiangdong Mei, which describes Li Shuqin's artistic career, is even more touching. That night, Li's students, Yao Zhiqiang, Ji Huasheng and others attended the performance. Li Shuqin's arrangement of "Fragrant Flowers Moving Cold Plums" began when she was a child studying in drama school. Li, a voice singer, has been away from home for more than ten years. Since she immigrated to Canada in 199 1, she has established a drama school in Jiacheng and trained many students. In March of this year, she specially returned to Hong Kong and Guangzhou to hold solo concerts. Fans unanimously praised her excellent throat singing art and master skills. Li's daughter also brought classic works, such as the wonderful performance "Love in Luoshui", which lasted for more than three hours, which made the fans crazy.

On the evening of June 29th, 2008, Ms. Li, a Shunde native, a Canadian Chinese, a member of Chinese Quyi Association and a famous Quyi singer, held a large-scale concert of "Li You's Affection for Sichuan" in the theater. The concert will be divided into musicians, and the box office income will be donated to the Sichuan disaster area without deducting any operating expenses. Huang, director of Shunde Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau, was invited to attend the concert.

Li has been engaged in Quyi art for more than 40 years and lived in Canada 10 years. She devoted all her energy and painstaking efforts to the establishment of Ka Li Cheng Pei Yi Theatre Art Institute, where she was a master and apprentice. It has successfully held dozens of special performances and individual concerts for teachers and students in various provinces, Hong Kong, Australia, the United States, Canada, Australia and other places, and actively participated in various charitable fund-raising activities. On May 12 this year, a strong earthquake occurred in Sichuan Province, which was seriously affected. After learning this news, Miss Li proposed to organize this charity performance, which was unanimously responded by friends in Guangdong and supported by all walks of life. That night, Miss Li sang three famous songs by Zhang Yu, such as Alliance Cooking the Sea, Lin Chong's Wife and Lu 'an House, and invited many famous singers to perform as guests. Her daughter, Li Shuqin, winner of the Plum Blossom Award for Chinese Drama, also performed a song "Husband and wife break up" at the concert.

The wonderful performance of the concert won applause from many Cantonese opera lovers at the scene. This charity Cantonese opera concert raised more than HK$ 200,000 for the Sichuan disaster area.
