Li Shengsu, a native of Baixiang, Hebei Province, was born in 1966. 1986 graduated from Hebei Art School and was assigned to Handan Peking Opera Troupe. Now he is the main actor of China Peking Opera Theatre. He once worked in Mei Lanfang Youth Peking Opera Troupe of Shanxi Peking Opera Theatre, member of Shanxi Provincial Political Consultative Conference and member of Provincial Youth Federation. He studied under Qi, Song Dezhu, Liu, Mei Baojiu and other famous artists.

Traditional operas that are good at performing include Farewell My Concubine, Life and Death Hate, Lian Jinfeng, Legend of the White Snake, Shiro Visiting Mother, Feng Haichao, Mu Guiying and Xie Yaohuan. At the same time, she also rehearsed traditional plays such as Meng Lijun, Shihai and Jinguyuan.
