Is Yangmei made abroad?
Myrica rubra is a famous specialty fruit in southern China, which is rarely cultivated in other countries. Today, Myrica rubra from Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, India and California all point to the Yangtze River valley in China and the humid mountainous areas in southwest China. There are also some cultivated or wild plants in the west of central Honshu, Japan and Korea. Europe and America are mostly introduced for ornamental or medicinal purposes.
