1985- 1995, served as editor and deputy editor-in-chief of Sichuan Provincial Institute of Literature and History (during this period, 1992- 1995, studied in the graduate class of archaeology in the history department of Sichuan University);

1993, join the Jiu San Society;

1995—February 2009, served as assistant curator, deputy curator, director of academic committee and researcher of Sichuan Museum.

In March 2009, he served as vice president, director and researcher of Sichuan Provincial Museum (the original Sichuan Provincial Museum was renamed Sichuan Museum in March 2009).
