Jinshi 103 well is an exploratory well deployed by Southwest Petroleum Bureau in Leshan City, Sichuan Province. Through multi-well drilling, it is confirmed that the resource of the pay zone broken through by Well Jinshi 103 reaches 387.8 billion cubic meters, and the resource of the whole shale section exceeds 1 trillion cubic meters. The breakthrough of high-yield shale gas in Jinshi 103 well is of great significance.
It will provide strong support for the scale development of shale gas from the single-layer Longmaxi Formation to new areas, new layers and new types of fields, and help the construction of a national natural gas production base of 100 billion cubic meters in Sichuan and Chongqing. The Jinshi 103HF exploration well deployed by Southwest Petroleum Bureau in Leshan City, Sichuan Province has recently obtained a stable and high-yield industrial gas flow with a daily natural gas production of 258,600 cubic meters.
Through multi-well drilling, it is confirmed that the resources of the production interval of well Jinshi 103 reach 387.8 billion cubic meters, and the resources of the whole shale interval exceed 1 trillion cubic meters. This is the first time that China has made a major breakthrough in shale gas exploration in Qianzhusi Formation of Cambrian.
Southwest project helps well Jinshi 103HF to achieve high production.
The Downhole Operation Branch of Southwest Petroleum Engineering Company successfully completed the test construction of Qianzhusi Formation in Well Jinshi 103HF. Under casing pressure 18.39 MPa, the daily production of natural gas is 258,600 cubic meters and the daily open flow is 536,000 cubic meters. For the first time, a major breakthrough was made in Qianzhusi Formation of Cambrian, a new shale gas exploration stratum in Sichuan Basin, and the evaluation of geological resources was implemented.
It will help the shale gas in Sichuan Basin to make another major discovery and promote the construction of a national natural gas production base of 100 billion cubic meters in Sichuan and Chongqing. The successful construction of the well has estimated the geological resources to be 387.8 billion cubic meters, which provides a strong support for the large-scale development of shale gas in southwest oil and gas fields from Longmaxi single series to new areas, new series and new types.
