Brief Introduction of China Junior Military Academy General School
In order to promote the healthy development of this educational form of juvenile military academy, and make it gradually move towards a systematic, standardized and scientific track, the National Committee for Working Youth decided to set up the general school of China Juvenile Military Academy in 1996. The general school of China Junior Military Academy is composed of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the National Working Committee, the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Public Security, the Armed Police Force, the National Defense Education Office and other relevant departments. It is a management and service organization, working around the National Junior Military Academy.

On February 28th, 2006, General Chi Haotian, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, State Councilor and Minister of National Defense, and Vice Chairman chairman of the Central Military Commission, State Councilor and Minister of National Defense, became honorary presidents of China Junior Military Academy.

On February 28th, 2006, General Chi Haotian, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, State Councilor and Minister of National Defense, honorary president of China Junior Military Academy, wrote the name of China Junior Military Academy.

On April 28th, 20001year, the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on National Defense Education was promulgated and implemented, and the activity of "Junior Military Academy" was written into Article XIV of Chapter II.

In May, 2004, Zhao Yong, the permanent secretary of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Youth League and director of the National Youth Work Committee, served as the president of the General School of China Juvenile Military Academy.

In April, 2006, the president of China Junior Military Academy was YueYang, the permanent secretary of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Youth League and director of the National Youth Working Committee.

In April, 2009, the president of China Junior Military Academy was Comrade Luo Mei, secretary of the Central Secretariat of the Communist Youth League and director of the National Youth Work Committee.

China Junior Military Academy is directly under the leadership of the National Young Pioneers Working Committee and is under the centralized management of China Young Pioneers Career Development Center. Its main functions are:

(1) Implement the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on National Defense Education, and extensively mobilize, guide and organize children to carry out juvenile military school activities with patriotism education as the core and national defense education as the theme;

(two) to formulate the development plan and phased work plan of the national juvenile military academy, and guide all kinds of juvenile military academies throughout the country to carry out experiential education activities with patriotism, collectivism and socialism as the main contents;

(3) Carry out the activity of striving for "National Juvenile Military Academy Model School", be responsible for formulating and perfecting the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Management of China Juvenile Military Academy Model School, and strengthen the regularization of the National Juvenile Military Academy;

(four) held a "national juvenile military academy evaluation", selection and recognition of "national outstanding juvenile military academy workers";

(five) to formulate and implement the management rules and assessment standards of the national juvenile military academies;

(6) Strengthen the leadership of the office of the general school of the juvenile military academy, improve the quality of the staff, and better serve the juvenile military academy and the vast number of children.
