Donghua Institute of Technology (formerly East China Institute of Geology), referred to as Donghua Institute of Technology, was founded in 1956. It is the first institution of higher learning in China's nuclear industry, which is jointly established by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government, National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, Ministry of Natural Resources and China National Nuclear Corporation.
