Southwest Jiaotong University has three campuses:

Southwest Jiaotong University is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in China. Its predecessor was Shanhaiguan Beiyang Railway Academy, which was founded in 1896. It is the birthplace of modern transportation, mining and metallurgy and civil engineering education in China. 1969 moved to Sichuan and changed its name to Southwest Jiaotong University the following year.
As of August 20 15, the school has three campuses, Jiuli, Xipu and Emei, with a total area of about 5,000 mu, forming a school-running pattern of one school, two places and three campuses. There are 24 colleges and 74 key undergraduate majors, with a total collection of nearly 7 million books, including 3.7 million paper books.
