1, Zunyi Medical College has been renamed Zunyi Medical College with two schools. Founded in 1947, the school is the first medical undergraduate college founded by the Party after War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory. It was once named Kanto Medical College, Dalian Medical College and Dalian University Medical College.

2. Zunyi Medical College is a university jointly established by the National Health and Wellness Committee and the People's Government of Guizhou Province. It is a pilot university of Guizhou Province's excellent doctor education and training program, a first-class discipline construction university in China, and has been selected as a basic capacity-building project for universities in the central and western regions.
