Chongqing Communication University includes: Chongqing Radio and TV University, Chongqing Media Vocational College and Chongqing Journalism College. Chongqing Radio and TV University is an independent institution of higher learning sponsored by Chongqing Municipal Government and approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a bureau-level institution owned by the whole people. The school was founded in February 1979.

2. Chongqing Media Vocational College.

It is a full-time ordinary college approved by Chongqing Municipal People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. The school has three secondary colleges: School of Economics and Management, School of Digital Media and College of Modern Education, covering more than 20 majors such as news, film and television, art, finance, e-commerce, modern service and management. 3. Chongqing University School of Journalism.

It is a secondary college under Chongqing University. 1929, the College of Literature was established. 1998 Chongqing university set up a college of humanities and arts, offering radio and television journalism.
